1.  Can anyone enter this competition?

Only if you are a resident of Ontario. All ages, musical genres and anyone who has in them a musical or artistic talent is invited to participate in this competition.


2.  Should I send my song in advance?

No, it is not necessary. Bring your backing track (not over 4 minutes long) with you on the day of the audition on a USB. If you are a band, e-mail us and we will provide you with our backline.


3. What is the dress code?

There is no hard and fast rule regarding dress. We recommend you wear what you makes you feel confident and best represents your act. If you are wearing high heels, make sure that you can walk in them. Bear in mind that your appearance will make an impression on the judges.


4. Is there an entry fee?

The fee to enter the competition is $35 before October 1st.  Afterwards the fee is $50 and must accompany your application.


5. Is there any audience during the competition?

Our event is open to the public. As written in the terms and conditions, if you are chosen to move to the semi-finals, you will be asked to purchase 10 tickets at $15.00 each using an Eventbrite that we will send to you after your audition. There is no charge for the Artist Bootcamp.


6.  What is the schedule for the day?

The Bootcamp will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 10AM-3PM. The Semi-Finals and Finals will be held on the Sunday, October 20th at The Overflow Brewery. Depending on how far you move into the competition you may have to stay the whole day, from 1PM-8:30PM. Again, more specific details will be handed to you after and if you move to the next round. 7.  What exactly does the ONE Artist Receive as a prize?

One winner will be selected and the prize package includes a record deal with Young, Wild & Free Records; artist development and management services with Artist Alliance Company; vocal, performance and stage development training with Sing House Studios; a marketing and branding package including an artist website from FM Designs, a professional promotional photoshoot with Award-Winning Photographer Sean Sisk Photography, a complete hair make-over from Pistol Rose Hair Studio and industry networking opportunities valued at over $50,000 in artist support.
